Return to Play

  • Jun 24,2020
Hi everyone,

As we prepare to return to play over the coming days and weeks we need everyone to comply with the following requirements.

Elearning Module: The return to play elearning module must be completed by all coaches, mentors and players (or parents of players in the case of U18's) before taking part in their first training session/game. This is very useful in setting out the new requirements. https://courses.gaa.ie/Covid19ClubEd/#/ . Proof of completion of this module will be required as provided at the end of the actual module.

Health Questionnaire: A Health questionnaire must be completed by all coaches, mentors and players or parents of players in the case of U18's before taking part in their first training session/game. https://returntoplay.gaa.ie/. Alternatively paper copies (see attachment below) of the questionnaire will be available at the grounds, please have temperature taken. Those using the online system must resubmit their questionnaire on the day of any further training sessions or games. This will be available in the form of a sign in sheet at the grounds also. (See below).

Membership: All players and coaches are required to pay club membership for 2020 if they have not already done so.

Facilities, Arrival, departure etc:
A timetable for the pitch is in place, coaches, please contact me directly to book a time-slot.

A check in routine will be established to show compliance with the e-learning module and health questionnaire above on arrival. Dressing rooms remain closed for now, please arrive togged and ready to go, toilets only will be available. Water bottles will not be provided by the club.

Parents of U18 players: Parents or guardians of U18's must bring their child to training and games and undertake the check in routine as described above on their behalf.
There is quite a bit of procedure involved in comparison to the norm but I am confident we can get into a routine in no time and get on with enjoying some football. Further info will be circulated as we proceed.

Thank you,
